[opendx-general] Way of Exporting connections-dependent data?

Dear DX Users/Developers,

I am working with connection-dependent (regular 2D & 3D) image data and would
like to export the true connection-dependent data values. (Preferably in a
standard binary-data image format file like HDF. )  However, for  Export:
"Only position-dependent data are supported ( DX User's Reference Manual ) . "  

Has anyone come up with a way to save connection-dependent (regular-position)
data to a file?  Will the ImageMagick option do this?
