Hello all! To visualize the output of our FE-solver, I have written a PERL script to convert the output files into native DX format and developed some .net programs. So far, I've been using the DX-GUI to run the .net programs but I am wondering if it is possible to write a C function that feeds the data through a pipe directly to dxexec running in script mode. In this case, the converting would drop out and you could produce TIFFs instantly without going a long way round. I've done that with gnuplot already and it works fine.
Has anyone of you tried that yet or has any suggestions whether it's possible or not? Patrick
