I am trying to use the Streamline module to display particle paths in a
static 3D vector field. (Although I am not using this for a fluid dynamics
application, the vector field which I have is analagous to a velocity
field.)

I'm perplexed by the behavior of some of the streamlines, which terminate
within the solution space for no apparent reason (at least none that is
apparent to me). According to the description of the Streamline module, the
streamlines start from specified posititions and times, and continue until
the particles either exit from the field or reach a region of zero velocity.
The streamlines I'm generating start at the correct locations and, in
general, appear to follow paths which are consistent with the vector field.
However, although every data point in my model has a non-zero velocity, some
of the streamlines 'die' within the solution space (i.e., away from any
boundary of the field) as though they've reached a region of zero velocity.

Are there known bugs in the streamline routine, or are there any obvious
issues I might be missing?

Thanks,
