First Compute (a.x) then AutoColor, will do it based upon the x component
of the vector field. You can do something similar for the other
components...

Subject: [opendx-users] Coloring a vector field based on individual
       components of the vec tors

If I used "AutoColor" to color a vector field, the vector glyphs are
colored
based on the magnitude of the vector data.

Can someone suggest a quick way to color the vector glyphs based on
individual components of the data field? In other words, I want to display
the vector glyphs as I normally do (using AutoGlyph), but have the ability
to color them based not on the vector magnitude but rather on the magnitude
of the x-, y-, or z-component of the vectors.

Thanks,

Joel Risner
