Why use plot if you don't need the axes?
You could always decompose the plot and remove the objects you don't need.

I am trying to superimpose a 2d plot over an image. The
superposition works fine. But, I could not remove the axes generated
by the plot. Masking the color of axes to background would not work
since the background is colorful.
Anyone knows how to remove the axes once the plot is generated or
apply a transparent color to the axes ? Colors Input Tab on Plot
does not take Colormap arrays with opacity.
