Hi,
Has anyone had success running opendx on an sgi fuel with v10
graphics ?
After successfully compiling the source code (versions 4.1.3, 4.2 and
cvs all have similar problems), I get the following
error messages.
with hardware rendering
> ERROR: Image: Display: Internal error: Hardware rendering is
unavailable
with software rendering
> 0: Bad class: Rendering not available with this version of the
library
ERROR: Image: Display: Error code not set
More often, specifying hardware rendering fails to display anything
other than the rotation axis. Software rendering displays a single box
image which cant be rotated.
Existing networks successfully load and the VPE displays successfully,
but the visualization fails to display.
The things I've attempted so far include
- based on previous messages, I deleted the 'Display' object and
re-inserted, in case display or depth information was included.
No luck.
- looked at src/exec/libdx/displayx.c
the #define FORCE_VISUAL seemed like it could be the problem,
but undef'ing this didn't help
- Trying to force the display depth with DXVISUAL=24,TrueColor
which didn't help.
TIA
Andrew
