The fonts for the User Interface are hard-coded as X resources. Since
you compiled it yourself, you could look at the header files
src/uipp/dxuilib/*Res*.h. There you can get the font resources and
change them in your .Xdefaults file or even better, you could offer
to add the code that would allow a user to set these preferences.

Hi!
I just compiled and installed OpenDX on my Linux system, and am
looking forward to
do some heavy-duty data visualisation with it. However, I am a bit
irked by the size of the default font OpenDX uses in all its
windows. Is there a way to change it size or appearance?
This is probably a very basic question which has more to do with X
then with OpenDX, but I'm used to adding a '-font' option on the
command line, which doesn't work in this case.
