The delay option in ImageMagick is useful only for gif animation. MPEG frame rates cannot be set to 4-8 per sec! The lowest setting is (I think) 23.796 fps. The only way to get slow animation is to have duplicate frames. Do not worry, the encoder should compress sufficiently to avoid any significant overhead. Regards, Gerassimos
