Hi.  This is for anyone running OpenDX on multiple servers (or anyone who knows how to).

I recently installed OpenDX on a second server, and am having a few problems running a distributed program.

One machine is running RedHat 7.0, and the other is running RedHat 6.1, and I suppose this could be a problem.

I am able to, from either computer, connect to an already running process on the other server, but I cannot open a fresh executive.  If I try a simple server connection from the RH7.0 machine (to the RH6.0 server), I get the error:

Connection to server hostname failed:
Permission Denied

While if I try the same thing from the RH6.0 machine (to the RH7.0 server) I get the error:

Connection to server hostname failed:
hostname: Connection refused

If I try to assign execution groups, I get the error:

Connection to peer hostname failed

I have configured the  /etc/hosts, /etc/hosts.allow files appropriately (as best I can tell).  Are there any DX configurations that must be set?  Or other system files that must be modified?

Any help on this would be great.

Thanks,
Jonathan
