I don't know what changed from RH 7.1 to 7.2 but we've used the RH
7.1 version and the RH 7.3 version with never a seg fault. We never
built a 7.2 version because the timing between the release of 7.1 and
7.3 was so short. If you can't upgrade to RH 7.3, then I'd suggest
building it yourself. It really is pretty painless unless you need
all the support libraries included (HDF, netCDF, etc.)
And people ask me why we charge to build this on some platforms?!!

missing some configuration detail - it seems to function fine for RUN
TUTORIAL.,
NEW VISUAL PROGRAM and IMPORT DATE but not for RUN VISUAL PROGRAM,
EDIT VISUAL PROGRAM and SAMPLES.
Have you tried running the following from the command line?
$ dx -edit
The dx command has everything offered by the startup window.
You can use:
$ dx -tutorial
$ dx -prompter
$ dx -help
$ dx -morehelp

Martin,
I tried you suggestion but problem still exits. I could run the dx -edit
command and create an example net and save it. However, if I go back and
attempt to edit the same program using dx -edit, DX crashes with
segmentation fault. Is the Red-Hat version unstable?
Thanks very much.
