I don't know for Suse, but for Mandrake I was astonished to see that in the
last distribution (9.0) they didn't include the last OpenDX version (4.2), just
the old 4.1 rpms. Is the 4.2 version with the set of libraries on Mandrake
hard to compile, or too unreliable?
Already when using the 4.1 version on Mandrake with the provided samples I
get errors, or crashes which make the use of OpenDX on Mandrake a discouraging
experience.
