Hi,

I've reported this bug once before, a very long time ago
(http://opendx.npaci.edu/mail/opendx-users/1999.08/msg00040.html).
I wonder if it's a really tough one or if it has been forgotten.

In my image in the VPE, pure red color is distorted by lines going from left to
right,
only when the image is pulled from cache. An example is the attached picture.
The image is a red color sphere.During the very first run there's no problem,
but with
next runs these lines appear.

The lines only appear for pure red color. They seem to start from the red
object, towards
the right and map to the left of the image at the edge.

I don't know much about caching. I use the VPE and use the cache settings as
what they
are by default.

My Open-DX is CVS as of now, compiled against open-motif-2.2.2_1 on a FreeBSD
4.6 PC
with XFree86-4.2.0. "ldd dx/bin_freebsd/dxexec" says:

        libXpm.so.4 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXpm.so.4 (0x28402000)

        libXThrStub.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXThrStub.so.6 (0x288f0000)

Don't know what else to provide; tell me if more info/tests are needed on this.

Regards,
Rob.
