You should use Map to interpolate the data from one of the grids to the
other. After Map, both fields would be on the same grid, which would
enable you to do point-wise operations.

Regrid is really oriented toward interpolation of scattered data to a
topologically regular grid.

You can also use Map to interpolate the data from both fields to a 3rd, but
common grid.

Subject: [opendx-users] Regrid

Hi,

I have two data files from finite element simulations. These data have
different grids and I want to have my scalar fields together on a grid
which contains all points of those two grids. With Regrid module I can
transfer fields from the one file to the grid from other file. But how
to construct a grid containing all points of the two grids and further
give this new grid as second argument to the Regrid module?

Best regards,
 Denis
