The Python interface to DX written by R. Hoper is called Py-OpenDX. I've been using it with great success for over a year but it began to show some minor problems when I upgraded to DX 4.3 and Linux 9.0.

I've just about completed upgrading the interface, now called py2dx, and will make it publicly available in a few weeks. I could send what I have to specific persons now if needed.
