Yes he is. Using perspective to render a volume has never been possible. You can use ShowBoundary after your AutoColor and then make it somewhat Transparent and then you can look at it in perspective and get somewhat of a volume image.

I'm not sure I quite understand what you mean by the volume renderer.
In the past, I was able to just send 3D data through Autocolor and image
and get an image that I could pivot and look at from various angles.  I'm
pretty sure this was with perspective viewing, because with orthographic
viewing, pivoting the image makes it very distorted and pretty much
impossible to understand.  Are we talking about the same thing?
