You can use Map to interpolate the z-component to the grid where you have
the x- and y-components. The use Compute to combine them into a single
3-vector on the grid of the x- and y-components.

Subject: [opendx-users] creating a vector

Hello,

I'm trying to crete a streamline of a velocity field. However, the x and
y components are in a separate field (as 2-vectors) from the z-component.
In addition, these two fields are on different grids. How can I combine
them into one field with the x, y, and z components in a set of vectors,
all on the grid currently being used for the x and y components? I would
like the z component to be interpolated from the original grid to the new
gridpoints. Email me if you would like more clarification. Thanks in
advance for your help.
