Hi Allen
I'd be happy to try and help out but I wonder if you could email the
networks and maybe a sample of the data (or the whole data set if not too
large)? I'm sure your problem is caught up with OpenDX fields vs groups etc
and to be able to have a direct look at it would be of some help.
Regards,
Joe.
Dear DXplorers,
Having given up on rendering the surface of my geometry I am trying to
form a 'connections' component for the combined surface and interior
coordinates. Unfortunately, there seem to be no examples or documentation
for using existing DX modules to do this. (I can only find networks for
2-D scattered data or 3-D regular grids).
Having used {Input} to read a 3_D vector field I connected this to the
<input> tab of {Regrid}. I tried using {Extract} to provide the
'positions' component of the field to the <grid> tab of {Regrid}. But,
executing this network gives the message: "ERROR: Regrid: Invalid data:
base must be a field or a group".
If I omit {Extract} and connect {Input} to the <grid> tab of {Regrid} I
get the message: "ERROR: Regrid: Operation not implemented: input must be
a single field".
In summary, I can't get to 1st base with {Regrid} and I don't know how
else to form the connections for 3-D scattered points. Can any one tell me
how to proceed?
