Hi! I'd like to use dx with a remote executive but as a different user. This only works if I manually start the executive and connect to the already running one. If I try to start the executive from the UI or the command line I have no ways to specify the user-id (as far as I can see) and dx tries to use the user-id of the local UI process, which will not work.
Is there a way to do what I want? Also is the dx UI able to automatically do the connection through an ssh-tunnel? Thanks for any hints, Richard. Oh - all UI elements seem to work "locally", i.e. the file-requestor sees the local directories, not the ones on the executive - is this intentional?
