Hi all,

After 4 years of intermittent struggling with opendx, I'm still very much
a newbie, so please bear with me.

I've finally been able to convert MODFLOW (3D finite difference ground
water model) data into dx format using dxconvert (note that the Windoze
version of this tool doesn't seem to work properly - it creates null or 0
data for shapefile attributes and MODFLOW output data). I now want to do
the following:

1.) map the data from the top layer to a 2D grid, so I can create contour
lines (a 2D isosurface)

2.) make surfaces representing zones of contamination.

However, this requires that I convert the connection-dependent
(cell-centered) data to position-dependent data. In other words, I need
to interpolate the values at the positions on the grid from the
cell-centers. This is particularly troublesome on the boundary of the
active model cells.

Any suggestions?
