The units are your units -- whatever data you passed to Colormap,
AutoColor, Color, etc. the mapping is the data values you provided.

hi people,
i have run a simulation inwhich the conectration of gas is depicted. the
colormap shows the distribution but i would like to know in what units
are these values.
