Try inserting Inquire("apply transform") after Transpose. This multiplies the internal transformation against the object positions, causing the object positions to change and the XFORM object to disappear. Then hopefully AutoAxes will see a 'normal' object.

I cannot get Autoaxes to plot the X and Y axes at their proper positions
(X axis at the bottom, Y at the left). The problem occurs when I want to
outline my image with coastlines. I used the WorldMapProjections,
Transposed it to re-orient it, Collect the output along with the image I
want and sent it to Image. Upon enabling Autoaxes, my X and Y axes end
up being on the top and right respectively.. Here is a summary of what I
did.
Import --> Autocolor --> Collect
WorldMapProjections --> Transpose --> Collect
Collect --> Image and then enable Autoaxes.
I hope somebody can help me out with this...
