Hi- (apologies, I've asked this before years ago, and lost the answer...)
I have two datasets, one containing positions and U and V velocities and the other containing positions and V and W velocities, not necessarily at the same positions. (It's the output of separate runs of a 2D laser doppler anemometer around a cityscape in a wind tunnel)
I'd like to combine these, by either discarding or averaging the "spare" V component, into a single dataset of 3D velocities, that I can then render as vectors, or seed with streak or streamlines...
