What kind of systems are you talking about? Hospital Information Systems?
GP's systems? Integrated Health Systems?
At the core of every real HIS there is an Order Entry/Results Reporting
module and, of course, a data base containing the Patient Medical Record. It
has
been calculated
that 2/3d of this record is coming from OE/RR (including drug prescriptions).
