sorry to ask a dense question, but did you actually login with your name 
& password? You have to do this before being able to change your 
settings. I know this probably isn't the most obvious way to unsubscribe 
from a newsgroup - I was surprised to find out about it myself. So if 
you bear with us for a bit, we'll fix anything that is broken. But I 
think you may need to log in first...
