You can freely mix ejb3 and ejb2x and ejb11 beans in the same archive.
As far as I can see it at the moment, it should be allowed and if it's not we could provide such a feature. I wonder how to validate such a unit?
I keep wanting to validate ejb3 beans too. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of rules around them to validate anymore. So far, I've found myself having to relax the ones we have in places. I guess that makes sense given the nature of the spec (simplification), but I'm still so trained to want to validate the heck out of everything.
