That makes things heavier than they're now since we need to check out all the possibilities in order to find beans. It's doable, anyway ;-)
I keep wanting to validate ejb3 beans too. There just doesn't seem to be a lot of rules around them to validate anymore. So far, I've found myself having to relax the ones we have in places. I guess that makes sense given the nature of the spec (simplification), but I'm still so trained to want to validate the heck out of everything.
I saw you relaxed the rules lately, but I think we shouldn't relax them for EJB 2.x and less. They're fine, but not for EJB 3.0, so once we figure we've got ejb3s to deploy the rules should be changed to satisfy it. If I ever get pass the annotations, I'll be happy to take a look at it.
