I replaced classes111.zip with classes12.zip
and everything works fine!
I have a question: what are the possible value of
key-generator besides "SEQUENCE"?
I would like to try Firebird (Interbase 6.xx)
where "generator" instead of sequence is used.

Shouldn't you be using classes12.zip ? I assume OpenEJB works on JDK
1.2.2 or higher whereas classes111.zip may not. If so, that's what
causes it.

If it fails, you could also see if there're problems with Oracle and the
driver - just write a simple program that connects to the DB. If that
fails too, you will be much closer to pinpoint the real trouble (which
in fact won't be related to OpenEJB, indeed).
