Sorry, please feel free to drop this for now, I will take another stab
at it soon-ish.
I think I understand why it happens with arm, but I don't get it yet why
it doesn't happen with aarch64, and it bothers me a bit. Want to stare
at it a bit more, but can do it only a bit later.
