Hello everybody, A customer of the company that I work for heavily uses custom filters, especially custom default filters. The problem with (default) filters is that that they apply to a model and not to a specific view of a model. Therefore we developed a proof-of-concept add-on [1] that allows to bind filters to a specific action so that views that are triggered from different menu entries can have different filters.
Do you think this is a generally useful feature or would you need something different to enhance the value of filters in OpenERP? Best, Thomas.
