This has been an upstream issue with different gtk packages. With the latest
updates they appear no more.
This has been fixed in pygobject 2.21.4+is.2.21.3-1
can you try out with the latest packages.

** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkWindow)
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkInvisible)
** Message: pygobject_register_sinkfunc is deprecated (GtkObject)
I do not have the impression that something is not working, but these
messages shouldn't be there
may be use "try:"
