[OF-users] Can't create physical volume of type iSCSI.

Hi,

 

OF installed on an HP DL360G3 1*cpu with hyperthreading and 1.5 GB memory, 2*36GB scsi as 2 logical drives on a Smart Array 5i raid controller. Openfiler installed on SCSI device 0 and iSCSI volume intended for SCSI device 1.

 

  1. Installed 2.0 Beta1
  2. Yum update
  3. Could not start iSCSI service
  4. Yum install iscsitarget-kernel-smp
  5. Rebooted server
  6. iSCSI service could now enables.
  7. Still not able to create physical volume of type iSCSI (only primary).

 

Is something broken or is it me doing something wrong. I had it working in a VMware Workstation 5.5 test setup 2 weeks ago without problems (after yum update).
