I have an Openfiler box running on a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 SLI-D Motherboard. It has 2 x gigabit network connections on board
One is Marvell Yukon 88E8001 the other is Vitesse VSC8201 (This is what it's called in the specs, In Windows XP it's called Nvidia Nforce Network controller) Openfiler see's and works with the 2nd controller fine but the Marvell Yukon one it doesn't. I would like to get the 2nd port working at least so I can send people to a 2nd ip address if the first one is fully utilised. Does anyone know of a way I can get it working. II might have it the wrong way around but some googling seemed to indicate that both chipsets should be supported under most linux's. How might I confirm in Openfiler which one is being used so I can go in search of the other? Has anyone used these chipsets and can point me in the right direction?
