Hi, I have just started to use open filer to replace a slow netgear san/nas box, anyway, i'm haing a couple of issues with the raid config ..
in the setup i manually created my root, boot and swap partitions using raid 1 accross both physical disks, created a 100mb, 1gb and 4gb partition / raid array. i install openfiler and boot the system go to phys disk mgmt and create new partitions on each disk as array members. then go to software raid mgmt and at the bottom create a new array by selecting both disks, selecting raid-1 mirror, and 'add' the page chunks away for a few seconds and returns me back to the software raid 'create a new array' page. on the console i see the following message : program parted is using a deprecated SCSI ioctl, please convert it to SG_IO which is then repeated many times ... anyone got any ideas ? thanks in advance ---- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ---- -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
