Hi All,
I hope someone out there can help me. I have created a ext3 volume on my
openfiler box called home_drv. I have then gone to the smb settings and changed
the SMB homes volume to point to home_drv. This works fine how ever now that i
have started creating snap shots of this volume, i can't find a way to use the
previous version tab within Windows XP. This works when i have created snap
shots on another volume which has a Share created on this volume. The snapshot
are being created for the home_drv. Is there anything special i need to do so
that users can use the previous version Tab on this home_drv.
Also is there away to limit which account automatically creates a home drive.
The current problem i have is that what ever account goes to \\nas.domain.com
automatically has a home drive created.
Sorry if this has been brought up before i have only really started using
Openfiler and it feels like a great product.
