Hello Experts,
Any words of wisdom.
Should I move forward with the workaround.
You've misconfigured host access control in the System tab.
The key->value pair should be <identifier>:<ip_address>
Host: camprac1_priv
Network: 192.168.254.11
Netmask: 255.255.255.255

Thanks

Hello All,
I appreciate your quick response.
Yes, I can ping openfiler1_priv
Here is the latest update:
I found the following on the web and for some reason it
works:
-----------------------------------------------------------
On Client (RAC nodes)
in node 1
InitiatorAlias=oelrac1
in node 2
InitiatorAlias=oelrac2
On NAS
add comment to iqn urls listed in /etc/initiators.deny
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now the question is : Is the workaround valid and would not
cause any other issues?
Do we have any permanent solution to this this issue?
I have attached initiators.allow and inintiators.deny
Thanks
Sunil

Hello Rafiu,
I am using one inetranl hard drive
(550gb), I
created a volume group
RAC1. I created logical 5 logical volumes and
mapped those volumes. The
iscsi target service is running on filer box.
I
installed the rpm (Oracle
Linux 5) to install iscsi initiator on all 3
PCs
and started the service on
all 3 PCs
Now when I run iscsiadm command as I
mentioned
before it just return to
the prompt with any errors or any ther
output.
Pls show output of the following:
cat /etc/initiators.allow
cat /etc/initiators.deny
Also:
1) Did you configure CHAP/auth?
2) Have you updated to latest openfiler (conary
updateall) and rebooted?

Can you provide information about how you
configured on the
Openfiler server side?
