Hi, Like I said, I don't really mind what the defaults are. I'd like the see the key developers decide so they know what they are supporting (code-wise) for for each new installation and hence what FAQs / Docs are needed to support that all-important "first impression" when getting OpenGrok (software) of the box so to speak. Also having one numeric default in the Java code and always overriding it in the Shell script seemed odd to me. Hence the desire to prompt discussion.
