weird, I cannot reproduce even with resizing the window, or starting up
IE8 in small window and opening the page
could it be video card drivers or some system issue (I have Vista, fully
upgraded, ATI video card, latest drivers from laptop manufacturer)?
seems like a renderer issue to me ...
you said firefox doesn't have the prob ... what about opera, chrome,
safari on your windows?
(one of them must try to use native drivers)
in the worst case we can backout the css frames and fixed header for
next version, hmm?
(but then showing the source works ... it might be that the blocks in
diff css overlap with header and cause the problem for some renderer
setups ... )
