Yes, that might actually be what I will be embarking on, thanks.

XWiki is integrating Solr into their application which is going to add a lot of 
functionality. The ability to search for various type of information is 
paramount. In addition to searching wikis in a farm, including the attachments, 
I'm trying to centralize the search for external documents, content, and even 
source code. (Based on a user's privileges of course!)

So I think I will be adding in the scripting to pull search results from open 
grok, and try to mimick the viewing that opengrok does so gracefully. I was 
just wondering if someone had already gone that far.

This seems to be more of a generic question - how to embed OpenGrok search 
fields in a web page.

I guess the form can be ripped out from the top level OpenGrok page quite 
easily, e.g. to have just the Fulltext search field with a Search button and 
place this to the header of each page (served by the wiki in this case).
