Yes, that might actually be what I will be embarking on, thanks. XWiki is integrating Solr into their application which is going to add a lot of functionality. The ability to search for various type of information is paramount. In addition to searching wikis in a farm, including the attachments, I'm trying to centralize the search for external documents, content, and even source code. (Based on a user's privileges of course!)
So I think I will be adding in the scripting to pull search results from open grok, and try to mimick the viewing that opengrok does so gracefully. I was just wondering if someone had already gone that far. Thank you Vladimir. -----Original Message----- From: Vladimir Kotal [mailto:vladimir.ko...@oracle.com] Sent: Friday, August 24, 2012 4:38 AM To: opengrok-discuss@opensolaris.org Subject: Re: [opengrok] XWiki + OpenGrok On 08/23/12 13:41, Jones, Dan wrote: > I see that the opensolaris website is run on an instance of xwiki... > > Is there any chance that you guys have integrated the two? > > I'd like to have a private developer xwiki that you can search source > code in. :-D This seems to be more of a generic question - how to embed OpenGrok search fields in a web page. I guess the form can be ripped out from the top level OpenGrok page quite easily, e.g. to have just the Fulltext search field with a Search button and place this to the header of each page (served by the wiki in this case). Is this something you're looking for ? v.
