I think it's almost a necessity. BUT, are we going to be able to come to
agreement on the 'beast of the license'? Without some type of
agreement/compromise I know that this will come up especially the GPL vs.
LGPL. We may as well get that out of the way first.
I believe to expedite the licensing issue(s) we should run a poll with all
the open source licenses listed. See what comes out of the POLL, then
discuss it. Democracy is great only when mediated with compromise.
