DoD uses the "Composite Health Care System (CHCS)", a MUMPS based "sister" system
derived
from the same ancestor as VistA. DoD is currently underway with a re-engineering
effort of
CHCS II, based on many of the same technologies we have discussed on this thread with
GCPR.
