I have been recently informed that one of our University
representatives
has contacted Bill Donovan, the publisher of Inside Healthcare
Computing,
and he has clarified the following points:
1) he wanted to know the source of the publication, as there have
been
problems that the company has been having with people posting
their copies.
2) he would have given permission if he was asked about us
posting the
article
3) he realizes that the University of Connecticut is not
responsible for
the web content in question
4) he has no intention to pursue legal action against myself or
the
University of Connecticut
Thanks for all of your support throughout all of this. It is a
testament to
the Open-Source community that everyone would lend their support
like this.
