I think this is called the Internet ;-)
Seriously, I don't think we need to have *one* site with everything on
it. Not very many people are going to be installing everything.
TK-Family practice and Freemed are for physician's offices, while
Circare and Telemed are more for larger organizations. Generally people
are going to be installing just one of these.
Mainly, however, it is very easy and not expensive to find somewhere to
host a web site. Each team can chose an arrangement that they are
comfortable with and that gives them control over their own destiny.
There is no need for our community to take on the extra effort
co-ordinating and hosting everything in one place. Source Forge, just
as an example, provides a pretty complete service for free.
All of us have an interest in making our products as easy to install as
possible, so specific comments on install issues would, I'm sure, be
welcomed by any team. Even more welcome would be someone volunteering
to produce packages specific to the installation procedures for
different distributions. For example: RPM packages for RedHat or
install scripts for windows.
