I believe Alvin was referring to the lincense agreement
of "source accessible" as a platform rather than their OS.

FYI: I am a QNX fan.
I have programmed for on/off for QNX 4 , and love it.
The new Neutrino OS is more exciting, but never tried.
It is expected to run Linux Binaries including running
word perfect office. QNX is also part of the "Embedded
Linux Consortium'.

QNX announcement(http://www.qnx.com/news/pr/mar09_00-lincon.html)
" Chicago, ESC Spring, March 9 - QNX Software Systems today announced
its charter membership in the Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC),
established
to facilitate the advancement of Linux in the embedded market. "

How do you define non-commercial use?
Non-commercial use includes experimentation, proof-of-concept, and personal use. It also applies to developers creating freeware applications.
We will post the non-commercial licensing agreement on our web site.

It's not open source in the strictest sense. But may be a viable development platform for OSHCA.
