For your information, in Red Herring this month
(http://www.redherring.com/mag/issue83/mag-healthnet-83.html), 12 articles
on medical software to question why the heath care sector, the largest
sector of the USA economy allocates so little of its budget to IT and why
the health care sector is generally not using the technological tools which
already exist to make the currently paper-clogged system run more
efficiently...
Sounds familiar?
Interesting reading. It advocates certainly for changes in the way medical
software is written and supported (just to pick the 2 main different
activities...). What could be an OpenHealth answer to that? And what about
replying to Red Herring once an answer is known :-) ?
