Hi Ignacio,
The "several million dollars" hypothetical scenario came from me, yours
truly. :-)

Good to hear that! A fellow zealot?

Now, if even "several million dollars a year" cannot buy you, then what is
the big concern about having LMN "pay its way and make enough..." ? Would
"make enough" be more or less than "several million dollars a year"?

Rather than making the money and then paying participants fairly, why not
consider not making money and then not paying participants? I am really
not a communist but if your primary goal is not "millions of dollars",
then why act like that is the goal?

It is not how close or far you are to the "millions of dollars", rather,
it is what you are willing to give up to get "closer" to the "dollars". If
you forsake opportunities to realize your first expressed motivation
above because you worry about income from LMN, then you are selling out to
that fistful of dollars (most likely far less than millions a year).

Would you consider LMN a business or a passion? Zealots tend to have
lifelong passions. :-)

Except for sin and temptations :-).
This is why we need to watch each other's back.

Every man has a price. What is yours?

I respect LMN because of its usefulness. Many useful things in life are
not profitable.

Unfortunately, there is increasing tendency to equate money with respect
and attention. It is undeniable that the ways of the dark side are
powerful.

Good for you! How will that site be different from LinuxMedNews.Org?

Best regards,
