Exactly! We need to put "it" online and then invite the "lumps"
(criticisms) so that we can make it better.

Another empirical question, IMHO. If you build it, maybe nobody will come
:-). There is always some risk involved - but minimum since Philippe
already has an ontology and the current OIO Library already provides most
of the infrastructure.

I agree. If at least 2-3 among TkFp, GnuMed?, Odyssee, FreeMed, GEHR,
FreePM, OIO, OpenEMed can agree to give it a try, then others may become
interested. So far, I know Odyssee, FreeMed, TkFp, and OIO have indicated
interest in establishing data interchange/interoperability through Jeff's
EMRi initiative (www.Sourceforge.net). Even if only half of that group
agree to participate in the ontology project, we will still have a good
start.

A good one. Thanks Wayne!
Looks like they are taking the "Standards/Working Groups/Committes"
approach. I think our effort will be very much synergistic with theirs.
They come up with standards, we build and use them.

Sounds good. They don't have code yet so we can help them with that piece.
By the time they decide on a set of standards, we will be ready to support
them. :-)
Comments?
