Hi Philippe,
if you want to use the same code in Linux & Windows you DON'T use VCL: in
fact the new library for Kylix are CLX that are based on QT libraries. The
new version of delphi 6 include these libraries.
There is also an Open Source release (it will be avaible at the end of this
year) of Kylix free of charge.
I suggest to download the trial version of Kylix at
http://www.borland.com/kylix/trial/
