Sorry to interject sooo much, but I did look at that also, and it's the "Custom API Wrapper" part that gets you. Although possible, I just don't think anyone has sat down to implement it. --Richard

Hello David,

I have to state that I am not a GT.M internals expert but was simply
trying
to provide an suggestion to your question. With that said, several
options
seem to come to mind for GT.M that might not involve M or at the very
least
just involve M long to enough to set up some data structures.

On Sanchez's site, this link seems to show that C/C++ calling
conventions
would allow access to the data.
http://www.sanchez-gtm.com/technology/architecture.htm I am sure that
Java
allows C/C++ callable functions and that might be one route. Another
route
might be the Java tools that are provided at
http://www.uku.fi/atkk/fixit/download/

I hope that this is helpful.

Yes, but I don't have any way to talk to it. I would like to use it,
but
I don't see an API that I can get to from Java.
In discussions I had at the eGov workshop, it was indicated that I
would
have to write my own interfaces in M.
This is unacceptable. If there is a Java API, I would be happy to
incorporate it into our system.

Thanks,

Dave
