Title: Keyword tagging of clinical documents
We use Zope in our clinical resource database and the standard Zope search engine. I wonder if it will do the same for you. See http://oscarresource.org

Subject: Keyword tagging of clinical documents

We are developing our Department of Anesthesiology web portal using Plone, an open source content management system that is based on Zope. We are very pleased with the initial look and functionality of the site (www.uhcanesthesia.com). The site is live, but please note is not yet populated with content and therefore not yet officially open for business.

We hope to develop a considerable repository of documents relevant to our clinical practice in anesthesiology, critical care and pain medicine. One challenge we face is how to apply "keywords" to the tagging of documents in order to increase the efficiency of indexing and information retrieval.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to approach the creation of a suitable list of keywords, short of loading the entire MeSH subject headings from the National Library of Medicine's Medline?!
