Hello Will,

This sounds like the Reservation Patient Management System that is a
Department of the Interior heath application created using some seed code
form the VA. In that case, then you need to look at http://www.hardhats.org
and sub to the mailing list since the real experts hang out over there.

Subject: RPMS Answers Wanted

I'm working on an open source programming project that involves
exposing RPMS data to our open source MPI project. Some specific
questions are:

- - what does RPMS use as a Data Base
- - are the DB query capabilities exposed outside of RPMS
- - does the DB have a API
- - does the DB/RPMS? time stamp data changes
- - does the DB/RPMS have a messaging system (MQ) exposed
- - is there a log file exposed
- - is any of the above already available in OSS

- - what is the DB structure, data dictionary
- - is the DB structure/ data dictionary different for each site?

All of this can really be asked as one question: who can we talk with
to find answers to these and other RPMS questions?

Thanks!
